The mini-grant program was created to support efforts within the Des  Moines Parks and Recreation system. The program is open to schools, neighborhood groups, businesses, running clubs, nonprofits or any groups/individuals interested in a community betterment effort. Applications are accepted at any time and may only support projects on public land and must have City of Des Moines Parks and Recreation approval prior to being officially granted.
