2026 FORE! Our Parks
Riverside Bridge Park
Riverside Bridge Park opened its gates to the community in October 2025, and now the Friends group is helping put on the finishing touches! Support will fund custom benches and a beautifully painted green ribbon to complete the park's cohesive look. These final details will make this Parks and Rec riverfront site more accessible, comfortable, and welcoming, truly elevating it into a signature public space where the community can gather, relax, and enjoy the view.
Power Wheelbarrow
Caring for historic community cemeteries requires moving heavy materials like concrete, soil, and gravel across difficult terrain and tight spaces. Funding for a specialized, engine-powered concrete buggy will replace grueling manual labor, allowing maintenance teams to work safely and efficiently.
Cheatom Park
Cheatom Park is undergoing an exciting transformation with an upgraded playground and sports courts! Bringing vibrant, artist-designed murals to our sports courts to celebrate our neighborhood's identity, while adding shade trees, benches, and bike racks to create a comfortable, welcoming oasis for everyone.

Stand Up Paddleboards
On warm summer days, nothing brings people together like exploring our waterways on a stand-up paddleboard. To keep our community safe and riding in style, we are replacing our aging, well-loved fleet with brand-new, top-tier Tahe Sport Beach Performer models. Your support ensures that adventurers of all skill levels have access to reliable, high-quality gear, keeping our waters vibrant, active, and fun for everyone.
Martin Luther King Jr. Park
A vibrant new chapter is beginning at Martin Luther King Jr. Park! Starting in Spring 2027, the play area will feature brand-new equipment and safe, accessible surfacing designed for children of all abilities. Alongside a refreshed park shelter and a newly resurfaced basketball court by Spring 2028, this project is an investment in our neighborhood's youth, creating a safer and happier place to play and grow.
Easttown Park
The playground is receiving new equipment, but funding is not available to replace important amenities such as worn-out benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, and the park grill. Your support will help provide comfortable gathering spaces for families, create a cleaner and more welcoming play area, and enhance the experience for everyone who visits Easttown Park.
