Park Feature
This upcoming project that will bring a brand new amenity to the Des Moines Park system. The urban “bridge on park” concept will feature a shade structure, unique playground equipment, planters and a dedicated pedestrian and bike lane.
Our downtown bridges are beautiful and historical, and contributing to this project will help create an even greater recognition and enjoyment. Construction on phase 1 is expected to begin Fall 2024 and open to park visitors in Fall of 2025.
